James Merrill’s real estate career began in Salt Lake City in 1994. His extensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate, from the development process to sales and leasing of properties, has resulted in the culmination of more than 350 individual transactions with a transaction value of over $500 million. From 2003 thru 2009 Mr. Merrill was the Regional Director for First Industrial Realty Trust leading all aspects of the REIT’s Utah business. During that time Mr. Merrill oversaw a portfolio of 49 buildings, encompassing 100 tenants and 2 million square feet. Also, Mr. Merrill directed one of Utah’s most successful and largest industrial development companies. James’s approach to brokerage centers on transparency and his extensive experience in the real estate process. Through transparency both landlords and tenants can make the most informed real estate decisions. His experience with institutional clients such as Calsters, First Industrial, UBS among others, equips Mr. Merrill with the ability to navigate the most complex transactions. James performs the best possible job for all his real estate assignments. His extensive knowledge of the Salt Lake County industrial marketplace, relationships and a perspective which comes from being on all sides of a real estate transaction, ultimately helps his clients save time and money in the process. |
