Jim has built outstanding career in commercial real estate brokerage and development. With over 15 years of experience, Jim focuses on understanding and fulfilling his client needs.
Jim has been a part of some of Salt Lake City’s largest investment sales/acquisitions in the past few years.
Jim represented the owners of the City Centre I, class A office building consisting of 225,631 square feet. This asset was successfully sold to a large real estate group.
Jim also successfully represented Principal Real Estate Investors and HMG Realty Advisors (sellers) and Well Real Estate Funds (buyer) in the sale/purchase of the Questar Building – a 205,627 single tenant bond lease transaction.
Prior to joining NAI Utah Commercial Jim worked for the investment banking firm Bear Stearns & Co. in New York City and San Francisco. This background in banking and the capital markets has given Jim an edge in understanding complex transactions.
Jim also spent 6 years as the head of development for a southern California development company called SK&A. There he developed many retail shopping centers and single tenant buildings.
After development Jim spent 2 year as a leasing specialist for SK& A primarily leasing retail space.
Jim graduated from Brigham Young University, in Provo, Utah with both a bachelor’s degree in economics and a masters degree in business.
This wide experience and determination for excellence has made Jim an outstanding broker and valued asset to his clients.
