Don Bleak is an investment specialist at NAI WEST. He has closed escrow on over 100 Million Dollars in investment property sales over the past twenty years. He has practiced and had licenses in both Utah and California.

Don graduated from the University of Utah in Finance in 1975. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity while there serving in various leadership positions. While going to college, he joined the Army Reserve and went to Ft. Lewis, Washington for basic training, Ft. Ord, California for infantry training, Ft. Benning, Georgia for Infantry Officer Training School, and Ft. Sam Houston, Texas for training in the Medical Service Corp.

In 1977, he started work with Akerlow Thomas and Dyer as an associate responsible for finding and developing new projects, and selling investment product as it was being developed. Projects included office buldings, residential and resort condominiums, residential land, and leasing of office space.

In 1981, he worked with Marcus and Millichap in Los Angeles, CA. where he exclusively represented major national companies, sport figures, syndicators, individual investors and movie stars. While at Marcus & Millichap he was a Senior Investment Associate, and new agent trainer. In 1993 he opened the Salt Lake City, Utah office for Marcus & Millichap and served as the Manager. In 1998 he was the Agent of the Year for the Salt Lake City office.

In 1999, he was an investment agent with Prime Commercial Real Estate in Salt Lake City. He was Agent of the Year with Prime in 1999.

In 2001 he joined NAI WEST as an investment specialist, and is presently the Director of Investment sales for the company.

Don has had extensive brokerage experience in all product types. He has closed escrow on over 150 million dollars of land and investment real estate. He has practiced in both Utah and California, and currently resides in Kaysville, Utah.

Since coming back to Salt Lake City from Southern California, Don organized the Utah Investment Council (UIC), which is a group of investment brokers representing every major real estate firm in the Salt Lake valley to help facilitate the sale of investment property and also gauge where the market is heading. He has served as its' President as well as sitting on the UIC Executive Council.
