Scope of Service Experience

In August 1999, Collin joined NAI WEST Commercial Real Estate Services to head up the office division. He has been one of the Company’s top producing agents each year while at NAI. His entire working life has been spent in the office discipline, having leased over 10 million square feet and participated in the acquisition and/or disposition of over $500 million of commercial properties.

Background & Experience

Collin Perkins began his real estate career in 1985 in Washington, D.C. as a leasing agent for a local real estate developer, Wade Investment Company. Collin worked on several Class A and B office projects and advanced to the position of Vice President of Leasing where he oversaw the marketing and leasing efforts of an office portfolio consisting of over 5 million square feet. While in Washington, D.C., Collin earned his MBA from George Washington University.

In 1991, Collin relocated to Phoenix, Arizona where he began work with a national real estate developer, The Koll Company ("Koll"), as a Senior Asset Manager. His responsibilities at Koll involved supervising the leasing and management of a Class A office portfolio for clients such as Principal Financial Group, AEW, and Kansas Public Employees' Pension Fund. In 1991, Collin received the company's "Big Deal" award for his efforts in consummating a 50,000 square foot, ten-year lease with a national insurance company.

After a nine-year absence, Collin returned to Utah and continued his career in commercial real estate. As a Vice President of the Office Services Group of Grubb & Ellis, Collin was either the top producer of the company or in the top two each year. In both 1997 and 1998, he earned the prestigious Circle of Excellence, which is an award recognizing the top Grubb & Ellis agents nationwide.

Collin is a member of the Utah CCIM Chapter and has been recognized as one of Salt Lake's top office leasing brokers by Co-Star five of the last Six years.
